My Transplant Story
Debra "Pinkie" Honeycutt
Everyone knows me at the Center for Living as Pinkie. My real name is Debra Honeycutt. I am 25 years old, and I have Cystic Fibrosis. I had my transplant Christmas Eve of 06. I feel wonderful. I don't have to carry that oxygen around. I don't have any trouble breathing, I can actually take deep breathes and hold them, and I talk a lot more than before (it might seem impossible but I do). I do still have little problems, but nothing like before. Here are some pictures that I would like to share with you...  I wish the best of luck for whoever has to go through this and also their caregivers (they do a lot and have a lot to put up with).
