Lung Transplant in the best of circumstances is difficult for everyone involved.  Even though every lung transplant patients initial goal is the same - to be able to breath again; every lung transplant experience is different.  It affects all of us in a different way.  How has the process of helping your loved one go through a lung transplant affected you?  Your daily life?  Have you been able to get back into life since the lung transplant?  How difficult were those first post transplant months.   Was the transplant experience what you expected it to be?  Better?  Worse?  Pick a topic and share your story.  It can be the your whole transplant story or a specific event; funny or sad.  Looking back is different than being in the moment.  Is there something you believe every caregiver should know?  Please send your stories to:  dukelungs@charter.net
